Custom Orders – Starting at $250

A $125 deposit is required to begin all custom projects.

At Machinations, we welcome the opportunity to bring your vision to life through one-of-a-kind, handcrafted talismans. Our creative director personally collaborates with each client to design pieces that are rich in meaning, rooted in history, and crafted with care.

Inspiration

Every custom project begins with a conversation. We ask thoughtful questions to understand your story, your vision, and the personal symbolism behind the piece. Whether you're honoring a transition, a relationship, or a ritual, we aim to capture its essence through metal and stone.

Talisman Selection

We offer a diverse library of archival and antique symbols, or we can source rare and unusual motifs upon request. Each symbol is chosen for its relevance to your story—imbuing the piece with depth and intention.

Design & Casting

All custom pieces are hand-carved in wax using the ancient lost wax casting method. Once the wax model is reviewed and approved, it is cast in your chosen material and finished to your specifications.

Finishing

After casting, your piece is polished, refined, and gilded (if desired) with 23.5K gold using Keum-boo, then presented for final approval. The result is a one-of-a-kind talisman that tells your story—designed to be worn, honored, and passed down.
