The Hand of Protection is one of the oldest protective signs, raised against the evil eye and the ill will of others. Here it is carved in relief on a solid sterling silver signet and finished with 23.5K gold, applied by hand using Keum-boo, an ancient Korean gilding technique. Heat and pressure bond the gold permanently to the silver, so it won't wear away like plating.
This is the ring that began the Machinations signet line, and it remains one of the most requested pieces. Wear it daily as a ward, or give it as a talisman to someone stepping into a new chapter.
